Robert Bradley

Los Ángeles, California, Estados Unidos

Biography

Robert Bradley joined the Playing For Change family in 2002 when we were shooting our first documentary film, “Playing For Change: A Cinematic Discovery of Street Music.” We had created an original blues song while traveling across the USA and had all the instruments arranged and edited but didn´t have the vocals yet. We had heard of Robert’s interesting background– a nomadic, blind street musician who was discovered and became a successful artist eventually forming the band “Robert Bradley´s Blackwater Surprise.” We were inspired by his courage and became big fans of his music and his voice so we asked him if he would be involved in our project and create the lyrics for our song. He said yes and we are so fortunate! The raw, truthful expression in his voice exemplifies the message of Playing For Change.
