Biography

Dandara Manoela divides her time between school and her love for the studies of music. She is the vocalist for the MPB autoral band Seu Baldecir and for the all female samba-reggae band, Cores de Aidê. Her main project consists in the execution of her own songs, as well as making samba and MPB interpretations with local musicians. Their musical plurality also represents a symbol of resistance of the Afro-Brazilian cultural manifestations and affirmation of the black woman in the cultural field.
