Cecile, originally from Paris, listened to Vivaldi and Mozart from an early age and first picked up the cello when she was 9 years old. After studying at a conservatory, she started to compose and play different kinds of music such as Irish Music, Jazz, and “chanson francaise”. In 2006 she recorded an album titled “Sur un fil doré” where she compiled all the music she loved, from Bach to Pink Floyd, and then created the show “Violoncelle sur Canapé”, which has been performed over 200 times.
