Biography

Glodi Dinga is a percussionist and drummer from Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo. He found his love for music at an early age and grew up playing congas at his church. His professional career started when he toured with the ballet in Kinshasa playing percussion which fueled his desire to make music his career. After touring with the ballet, Glodi learned to play a drum set and then relocated to Cape Town where he played locally with numerous bands. It was in Cape Town where he met Mermans Mosengo and joined the band Afro Fiesta.
