Biography
Singer and composer, Marissol Mwaba has a diverse number of musical influences within the African diaspora, mainly with the music of Katanga province, in the center of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (original country of her parents). Her process of artistic creation and expression combines these influences with a personal way of composing and singing.
In addition to her solo career, she develops partnerships with: François Muleka, Alpha Petulay, and Dandara Manoela (duo Mwangaza).
In 2016, Marissol released her first CD Luz-A-zuL.
