J. Marie Jones is a creative professional and entrepreneur whose career spans more than 15 years in music and entertainment. She currently serves as a producer and the director of communications with Playing For Change in addition to being a co-founder of the creative branding agency Brainstorm Collective and running her own entertainment and lifestyle brand, Rebel Fuse. J. Marie is a proud honors graduate of Howard University where she earned a degree in communications.
As a singer/songwriter/musician, J. Marie has released two independent albums and performs around the Los Angeles area with her band, The Color Different. She’s also a member of Kanye West’s Sunday Service Collective. In her former roles in television, artist management, A&R, and music publishing, she’s worked with artists such as Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson, Aretha Franklin, Jamie Foxx, Alicia Keys, Linda Perry, and V. Bozeman, to name a few.
In her spare time, J. Marie loves to travel, paint, spend time with her dog son, Benson Daly Ray, and serve her community through her work as the community service chair for the Howard University Alumni Club of Los Angeles and as a mentor with the organization, Girls With Gifts.
