Biography

Rodrigo Rodriguez was born in Jacinto, Bolivar in 1951. He started his professional musical career in 1975 with his first recording, Discos Tropical. After this first album, he recorded with Julio Fontalvo, Miguel Cabrera, Alvaro Carrasco, Jairo Gil, Gabriel Chamorro, Rodolfo Aycardi, Hernan Villa, Oswaldo Olivera, Miguel Apacheco and many more. In addition, Rodriguez is a well-known accordion technician for a lot of musicians in Colombia. Rodrigo is currently playing with the group “Los Auténticos Corraleros de San Jacinto” and teaches music in Cartagena.
