Biography
Pierre Minetti is a songwriter, a singer and a guitarist living in Barcelona. Born into a Uruguayan family in Nancy, France, Pierre draws his inspiration from different musical styles like Reggae, Afro Cuban, Samba, or Candombe. Writer and composer of Don’t Worry, the first original Playing For Change song around the world, Pierre is currently involved in different musical groups like “Calle Sol” and “Made in Barcelona.”
How we met:
We met Pierre during our first trip to Europe, while he was performing with Batukeros de la Calle in the streets of Barcelona. Immediately we could see his great energy, and hear his unique style of mixing French and Latin influences. Pierre wrote the first original Playing For Change Song Around The World, “Don’t Worry.”
