Pawòl Tanbou

Haiti, Port-au-Prince

Biography

Together, the two young Haitian drummers Gregory Laforest and Lawrence sardau-Francisco (Cisco) founded the Pawòl Tanbou with the goal of putting drums at the heart of their music.  Today, in collaboration with other musicians, their music is a mix of Haitian and West African music where drums take center stage.
