Biography
Juan Carlos Victoria Muñoz was born in Cali, Colombia in 1984. After teaching himself to play guitar and bass, he started his musical career as a mere teenager, playing in many different bands. Years later, his tour took him to Bogotá, where he met Toto la Momposina, a legendary singer from Colombia. He is currently part of the band, Toño Barrio Latin Groove.
How we met:
We met Juan Carlos while recording Toto La Mamposina in Bogotá. The day after, we recorded him in the center of the city, playing his baby-bass among tramways, cars and buses in the middle of a busy street.
