How we met:
While filming in Kathmandu, the PFC crew stayed as guests at Sechen Monastery. One day we got into a conversation with another guest at the monastery who we later learned was a Sherpa. Once he learned about PFC’s mission to connect the world through music, he told us about a group he was involved with, The Himalayan Sherpa Art Center. They specialized in performing traditional Tibetan music, and we couldn’t wait to schedule a performance! Three days later we were on a rooftop overlooking Boudhath Stupa, recording a group of eight Sherpas playing otherworldly melodies. It was an amazing day that the PFC crew will never forget!
