Donald Kinsey

Gary, IN, Estados Unidos

Biography

Born May 12, 1953 in Gary, Indiana, Donald Kinsey is an American guitarist and singer, best known as a member of the reggae backing group for Bob Marley and the Wailers. Besides Bob Marley, Kinsey has recorded with various renowned musicians, including Peter Tosh, Albert King and Roy Buchanan.

Kinsey is one of the three sons of the late Chicago blues performer, Big Daddy Kinsey. In 1984, along with his brothers Ralph Kinsey and Kenneth Kinsey, and Ron Prince, they formed the Kinsey Report. The Gary-based band effectively backed Big Daddy Kinsey and Albert King. Bob Marley and Muddy Waters have also toured with the group.
