Guerrilla Management advises on creative career strategies and build the team for artists that want to be successful and to achieve goals to achieve this. One of our favorite sayings is “we work as hard as our artists”. It’s a partnership. Our team & artists stretch the globe with our current roster Australia’s GINGER & THE GHOST, New Orleans’ AMANDA SHAW, Bay Area’s MISTER LOVELESS and global hitters MICHAEL FRANTI & SPEARHEAD.
In 2006 John worked as a consultant for Look Records and helped set up label infrastructure and the release of rap albums by A.G. and Phat Kat. From early 2006 to late 2009 John was vice president for Take Root Records and developed the label infrastructure and released albums by Bellavista, Minipop, The Ettes and French Miami.
John founded CARTEL in 2007 to focus on brand partnerships and sponsorships. This evolved out of producing the 80,000 capacity Power To The peaceful Festival and securing sponsors. In 2011 and 2012 John secured the title sponsorship for the Zazzle Bay To Breakers. At SXSW 2012 we partnered brands like Band Pages, Say Media, Star Maker Interactive and TasteMakerX.
